Arizona State Trust Lands are located on the eastern side of Redington Pass. These lands are not public lands, but instead managed to generate revenue for the state of Arizona.
A permit from the State Land Department is required if you camp, hike, or travel on State Trust Land. A permit is not required simply to drive through State Land on Redington Road.
